Planned Maintenance
An annual inspection and maintenance program is strongly recommended starting no later than one year after installation of the heat pump. In harsh environments or coastal areas a bi-annual inspection is recommended. See recommended inspection checklist.
WARNING
Failure to heed the following may result in injury or death.
-
Annual inspection and service must be performed by a qualified heat pump specialist in order to prevent physical injury or damage to equipment. For tasks requiring handling refrigerant, an HVAC license is required.
